Peter Grimm Sun Hat for Women and Men Lifeguard Hat with UV Protection

This is our third Peter Grimm hat purchase. South Florida heat and sun is no joke. If you want to enjoy our tropical paradise and stay cool and healthy, sun protection is a must. These lifeguard hats offer full face/back and chest shade. They are a breathable straw design and block those UV rays. They neck strap is comfortable and keeps the hat from blowing off on the beach or when you kayak/paddle board. These are a sturdy hat, but make sure to examine inside and out. I have returned and reordered one of these hats due to loose straw in the crown of the hat. Overall, this hat needs to be a staple in any vacay bag that is headed to a beach.

This hat is huge- which is what I wanted to protect my face, neck and chest after a laser procedure. The large size provides serious coverage and protection from the sun. It’s a nice quality hat.

This is a great design. The brim is huge, giving full shade coverage of face, neck, ears etc. Keeps my head much cooler than a baseball hat. Why only 3 stars? The version I received was clearly a return, the straw on the peak of the crown where one would grasp to pick it up was broken from being picked up when it came out of the box. The straw on the interior of the crown was unfinished, and if the hat is pushed down too far sticks into and irritates the scalp on the top of the head.I didn't bother to send it back as the shipping on an $11 hat is close to $11.

It's a huge hat. Fit pretty well. Some of the straw was frayed and sticking out but it was easy for me to fix. Shipping was quick. Great quality hat overall

Very nice hat to beat the Texas summer sun. Got rained on a little when mowing the yard and the hat smelled like mary jane for a few minutes. Freaked me out for minute and I went looking around my property for the person doing it. Then figured out that it was the hat and had a good laugh at myself. Came in a box and was undamaged, very well made and worth the 25$.

The brim of the hat is pretty big, but i guess thats a good thing when your trying to protect yourself from the sun. I bought this for my husband and he has trouble finding hats that fit him because he has a large head and this one fit perfectly. The package also arrived nice and neat. Not rips or bends in the hat.
