This stuff works incredibly well. It works on keeping laundry fresh and smelling great!

Tried OdorKlenz recently to remove the smell of artificial fragrance from some towels. The towels had been washed several times previously and still smelled, but OdorKlenz was successful in removing the odor.

I have TERRIBLE FRAGRANCE SENSITIVITIES, so I have mainly used it to wash fragrances from clothing that I've ordered from ebay or thredup. My experience is that it does work, eventually. I've had to wash some items 3-4 times to get the smells out, but they eventually came out.

In an increasingly toxic world this helps fight the battle against the rising tide of chemicals that come home on our clothing.

I bought this to remove the perfume smell from used clothes purchased from thrift stores, but I'm disappointed. I washed a pair of pants with it twice, and I didn't notice any decrease in the smell. I ran the first wash normally, but that didn't help, so I did it again and let the pants soak in the solution for an hour before continuing the cycle. The pants still smell exactly the same, like perfume. I'm past the return window now.. Won't be buying this again, as I can't tell it made any difference.

So I bought these after reading several reviews and having stored some clothing in moth balls - hoping to get the odor out. I went ahead and washed the load with the correct amount indicated. The clothes still stunk like mothballs. So I washed them again and doubled the amount of laundry additive. Didn't help. I washed the clothes a third time and used an entire cup of the stuff. Didn't help. Now I've used more than half of the jar. So I go online and see that vinegar helps. I skip the additive and wash rhe clothes in vinegar and add vinegar to the rinse as well. Didn't help. I washed the clothes a fourth time adding the rest of the odor stuff in and they still smell like mothballs. So I only got 4 loads. I'd give it a good review if at any time I noticed the smell going away or even if I knew it took a whole jar to remove mothball smell. It just didn't remove it. For what its worth, neither did the online remedy using vinegar. At least vinegar is cheap though. Can't recommend it for mothballs odor removal - which is why I bought it and had none left to try it on any other odor to know whether it works in general - it just didn't help the mothball odor.

Works great. My daughter's cat likes to use piles of clothes (in baskets or on floor) as his personal litter box sometimes when he feels like we are not giving him the attention he so rightfully deserves. No matter how many times we would wash our clothes, we could not get rid of the smell of cat pee completely. It got to where I would not wear most of my wardrobe. To test this product, I tossed the worst offenders in the washer and one heaping scoop was enough to give my clothes a new lease on life. Price per load may seem like a bit much, but the product works, so I can't argue against that fact. Worked fine in our front-load washer -- just put it directly in the tub before adding clothes. We'd highly recommend it!
