Is this product 3x or 5x magnification? I’ve tried to order this twice and received a 3x magnifying glass but the description states it should be 5x

You will never receive 5x magnifying glass ! It's a misleading information !

No, the one I received was less than 5X magnification. Nothing on the box indicated the degree of magnification even though the listing claimed it was 10X. I was very disappointed and returned it.

How large is the lens

The lens is 100mm. It's printed on the handle by the lens and it really is. (That's essentially 4 inches (3.937008 inches according to an online calculator.)
