No he does not come with a stand. So yes you should purchase one...also he does not come put together, he comes in tiny pieces and you have to build him l

No the figure does Not come pre assembled, you have to follow the diagrams exactly as the pieces only fit one way make sure you cut out the parts neatly and use a strip of sandpaper to smoothen out the surfaces also no glue nor paint needed
