I bought the stand at the suggestion of a coworker because I was having a reverse shoulder replacement and she said it would be helpful to dry my hair after the surgery. I was amazed at how well it worked. I would definitely recommend it.

This is a wonderful product ease of use, and great value

This is poor quality BUT it does the job. I broke my wrist so I can’t blow dry my hair so this is so handy. It probably won’t last but I hope to only need it a couple of weeks.

I bought 2 of these to use with blow dryers for grooming my dogs. There were NO instructions in either box, which was very annoying, making it difficult to put together properly. One of the stands did not fit the threads on the top mechanism at all and cannot be assembled. My brother-in-law is an engineer, and he couldn't even get it to work. One of the stands fit together, but it kept falling over, because the base is not weighted enough, and there is no way to tighten the arm so that it doesn't collapse on itself. As you can see in the photo, I had to brace it in 3 places, just to use it one time. They will both be returned. Substandard product!

We returned the first one because we could not get the flex arm to thread into the extension arm. The replacement would not thread either. Then fiddling with it we loosened the extension arm lock and let the top part out a little bit. Then the flex arm threaded into the extension, As shipped or fully collapsed, the lock mechanism that holds the extension arm in place is blocking the ability to screw in the flex are. We haven’t used it yet and see people have issues with it, but we couldn’t even get started due to that quirk in the design.

I have zero use of my right arm after a bad elbow fracture and surgery. Personal care has become a nightmare, however, looking at frizzy,messy hair is also a nightmare. After having someone come and blow dry my hair a couple times, I found this and it's like having an extra hand. I would have bought it even if I weren't injured. It did feel slightly unstable with my full size, heavy hair dryer in there, but I placed a wrist weight over one side of the base, and now it's completely stable. I can hold a round brush or even my spinning Babyliss dryer in my uninjured hand and it works great. The price is great too!
