I ordered these and they were definitely not hollow. I am certain I am not confused here, so anyone who replies they are hollow either: 1) is confused, or 2) the quality control if not great and some batches are and aren’t hollow.

Q: By 5/8 you mean a twig. Why is it not possible just to have- 1" width?

5/8 inch is between 1/2" - 3/4" width, these bamboo steaks are 6 feet tall and are perfectly strong enough for supporting our huge beefsteak tomato plants, very pleased with my purchase
