Why did you pick this product vs others?:Just got these in and got them installed. They look fantastic, they're comfortable to walk on barefoot and the adhesion holds nice on the staircase. Got them all installed in less than 20 minutes

Very satisfied. Width is just right and thickness is ideal. Not too soft or thin. If you’re looking for simple treads that have a great look, this is it! Peel and stick. Haven’t seen any move, especially after the kids. Price is perfect! Highly recommend

These stair treads are great but I didn’t realize that they require double sided tape to adhere to the stairs and the treads did not come with the adhesive already affixed. My boyfriend didn’t have the patience or fingernails to peel the stripping needed for each tread but luckily for us, I got us through.I used a strip on both the upper and lower portions on the backside of the tread and put these on top of unfinished, semi rough wood on our basement stairs. They seem to be holding up well. I did run out of tape by the time I got to the last step but had enough to run one strip through the middle and made it work. I’m sure the instructions mentioned this but of course I don’t read those.What was semi frustrating was that there seemed to be a thin plastic layer on the bottom each pad that you need to peel off before them applying the tape. There is a small piece with an arrow on the corner of each tread to peel this extra layer off but that piece is separately taped on top of this extra layer and peeled off without pulling the plastic backing making it impossible to remove the extra plastic layering. In other words, lots of peeling and lots of plastic waste that is unnecessary and causes extra steps on the install process. This extra piece of plastic layering could just be left on and honestly I’m not sure of the point of it.I did end up having an extra tread or two which will be good to have on hand when and if I ever need to replace one.Overall, these are good and do their job.

These treads are as advertised. They stick firmly to my wood surface (i.e., no moving or slipping), but yet are easy to peel up and replace again without loosing a firm grip. I avoid using the term adhesive because that sounds messy. There is absolutely no residue left on the floor or hands – great technology. The backing is a plastic or cellophane that comes with a paper tab for easy removal. The first one, I pulled the tab strait down, causing the backing to split down the middle. No real issue, but the remaining material is harder to grip and pull off. After that, I noticed the direction of the tab cause for pulling to the side, at least until the backing clears the top of the product, then you can pull strait down and it comes off completely the first time. I also like the elegant look they provide to my stairs. Overall, very pleased with the product and now in the process of a second order to use at my entryway.

A little undersized for the steps. In addition, the backing, sticky is weak. It does not adhered to the wooden steps very well.

It’s been great so far the carpet hasn’t came off the stairs yet easy to use I have a large dog that I put these on the steps that she uses everyday haven’t had any issues yet

I put these on some painted wooden stairs that were giving our dog some trouble lately. I was worried about ruining the steps and floor with a strong adhesive, but also didn't want to worry about them sliding around. Turns out the amount of tacky backing on these is just perfect. They look good, were easy to install, and add grip without adding too much thickness where someone might trip over the edge.
