I'm not sure what I expected to receive, but I know what I wanted. I was prepared to receive pretty much anything at this price. What I got was nice solid wood, intricate carving for the post. The armrest part is even more attractive wood, very nicely polished with little leaves and vines in brass inlay. Ok, so the two woods are different; they go together nicely. The overall piece looks very nice, feels good and solid, and is very comfortable to use. Delivery from US to Switzerland was extremely fast, compared to many other things I order.The most important thing for me is that it has made a big difference in my meditation, and that's exactly what I wanted.

It is crafted beautifully. I use it every day.

It is really pretty. It is what I expected EXCEPT that the wood of the supportive head with the pretty brass inlay doesn't match the wood of the beautifully carved stick. The head looks more homemade and the stick not. But I really like it anyway. I have been wanting one for many months now.

This is a nice yoga prop to have for opening the nasal passages for the purpose of nadi purification alternate nostril breathing. At first I didn't think it worked, but after using it a few times I must have gotten it positioned correctly and it opened up my constricted nasal passage within minutes! For any yogi's and yogini's who have a seated meditation practice, I recommend this prop. P.S. I was delighted with the quality of craftsmanship as well.

The danda I received is absolutely beautiful: the carvings and metal enlays are very well done! More importantly, it is shaped perfectly to nestle into the armpit. It the height is an issue, it could be shortened a bit if you are handy with a saw;or, if it is a bit short, a little felt pad (like you would use under chair legs) could be used for a little lift. For me, the length is perfect....Thank you for a beautiful and well made danda!

No, to short for pricess

Quality was much better than I had expected. I use this staff everyday to chant mantras with my Rudrasakha beads. Helps keep the beads off the floor.
