Interior dimensions 30 5/8" tall by 22 5/8" wide by 1 15/16" deep, with 2 magnetic closures that stick out about 1/2" on the opening side. The door trim obscures the interior a little under 2" all around. It also comes with a hanger that hooks to a hook at top. The cover is acrylic and not glass. There is no backing material.I was looking for a large size display case for purposes other than jersey display. While there are other options that are cheaper and better rated, this was the deepest I could find (almost 2 inches deep!). It works well for my purposes. If you look hard, the paint job isn't museum-quality, but it looks good enough for me.This particular item does not lock, but I saw other jersey displays that had locking latches, so I ordered some separately (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01BGJ9VYE/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_1) and some small screws and added without much hassle.For my use-case, I am concerned about how much weight the bottom can support. I believe the material is compressed board, so if I am going to add anything heavier, I think I would attach shelves to the sides to distribute the weight. Also the bottom join looks like it has the pins coming up from the bottom instead of in from the sides, further contributing to my load-bearing concerns.

I purchased this to hold a sentimental quilt. It works great! Perfect size to show off the pattern while keeping the rest safe. Nice quality and price!Separate note, I actually received 2 of these units. My first one came in damaged in shipping. I contacted customer service and was extremely satisfied. Within an hour, I was contacted and a replacement was being sent out. I received the replacement a few days later, in perfect shape. Best customer service experience I have had in a very long time.

I paid $58.99 for this shadow box and I would say that's a fair price. The materials are not high quality and not glass but it looks nice enough on the wall and feels like it will hold up nicely. Because the materials are on the cheap side, it's pretty lightweight and easy to handle/hang.The instructions were easy to follow and I was able to put it together by myself until it came time to attach the door to the frame. The magnetic closures don't seem to work but the clasp on the outside works pretty good, however I did have to use some WD40 on it to get it to open and close properly. The hanger is useless as it hangs lopsided but a standard size hanger will fit as long as its not too thick.

For the price, we were hoping to get something a it higher quality. The instructions were on the smaller side, with multiple steps grouped together into one picture (very little text). The workmanship was not the greatest, and everything did not align perfectly. The latch doesn't latch properly, and I had to use pliers to adjust it to get it to fit together well. And the back panel had three of the screws breaking through the inside of the display case. We put it together, it holds the items we wanted it to hold, and it looks like it will last, for but over $80 better materials would be appreciated.

Easy to install

So, I bought 2 of these in the past and they were both already pre-built and did exactly what I expected them to do. Hang on the wall, hold my jersey and look good. Check, check and check. So I get a new jersey to hang and ordered a third one of these. It comes in pieces. It's a build it yourself job. Which is not shown anywhere in the details when purchasing. I guess they just got lazy building them and started shipping them in pieces. OK, I guess that's fine. I am fairly handy so I can put this together. NOPE. The screw holders won't tighten around the screw heads. So, I cannot get the case to stay together. I tried for about an hour and thew it all back in the box and started writing this review. Next step is to get a refund and send this piece of crap back. I guess I am saying DO NOT BUY this jersey holder. It's a waste of time and money.

*Edit* I filed a claim with the manufacturer and was sent a replacement via express delivery. They will make things right.This item arrived damaged and unusable. The acrylic was sagging to the bottom of the case, and the molding used to hold the acrylic to the lid was broken. Upon examination, it appears thus didn't happen during shipping, and was actually a factory error that was sent out anyways. The staples didn't go through much of the acrylic and were bent, suggesting someone was too lazy or did not care enough to fix it. This is the second, and likely last one of these cases I will purchase from this seller. The first one was great - this one not so much. Looks like you have a 50/50 shot of it arriving in one piece.
