Love this for storing my expensive paint brushes securely. Very nice.

I used this for my most of my Palette Knife collection. was looking for one that was a bit larger but this one will do for now. Sturdy and love the top that pulls over to cover them before rolling...good sturdy fabric

This is a tough brush carrier that seems very sturdy, well constructed and should last for years. It has 24 slots, all roughly 1.5 inches wide and the bottom row can hold brushes up to 20 inches long or more. If you use big brushes with a wide handle (like a house painter's brush) bear in mind they might not fit.Two things keep me from giving this 5 stars. The material is so stiff that it easily takes on a crease. I've done some testing and they do mostly come out eventually if you lay it flat (especially if you weigh it down with a heavy book), but you're probably going to end up with a folded rather than rolled carrier. If you spread the carrier across an uneven surface it won't take long for it to take on creases that match the surface, and if you switch brushes often you may need to reshape the carrier each time. The second issue is the flap starts right at the top of the second row of pockets. That means you can't fold the flap right at the top of the roller without damaging the brushes in that row - you need to fold it over well above the hair of the brushes before rolling. Unfortunately there seems to be a permanent crease at the start of the flap where it was folded after manufacturing which makes this harder to do. It may go away eventually (and mine quickly took on a new crease where I wanted it), but the material just seems too stiff for a brush roller. I guess it's a tradeoff between flexibility and protection. I'll continue to use this - so far it does seem to provide excellent protection of the brushes if you get all the new creases in the right places.

The title says this roll is 20"x20". Actual dimensions are below in the product description, in small print: "‎11.42 x 9.84 x 0.79 inches"This will only hold very small brushes. Standard brushes won't fit. Customer should immediately fix their misleading title.
