We used it for Christmas dinner. We had a standing rib roast and it carved beautifully.

Exceptional quality
As usual, a great knife from Cutco. Actually ordered this model by mistake. I was looking for their long straight knife which works great for bread or for carving meat, and would suggest that one instead. this was a gift for a granddaughter just getting her first apartment. Cutco knives are VERY sharp, superb quality, and they will resharpen them free for life. I am slowly replacing my own high end German knives with Cutco.
