Easy set up
I like that the plug ins were easy to access with enough room for non-standard plug configuations.

HORRIBLE & STRONG CHEMICAL SMELL
I've had this for a little over a week and am sending it back. The smell taking it out of the package was bad, but once I plugged it in, it got overwhelming. I mean... so strong I could literally taste it in my mouth. The next day I unplugged it and put it in the basement for a week to see if it just needed to off-gas for a few days. I brought it back up yesterday and didn't plug it in until this morning. The smell is just as strong as before. I did some googling and it seems to be a common problem with a lot of ups units. My old one (different brand) is still working fine - I only purchased this one because it allows you to mute the beeping (which freaks out my dog). Bummer, but I'll have to choose irritating beeping over noxious fumes.

This thing is great
This thing is great. I've only had it for half a day but it's much better than my previous UPS, which was a much cheaper model by APC. The CP900AVR is more robust than my old one, plus the software (which you need to download from the CyberPower website) works really well (I'm on a Mac); it provides info about voltage spikes/dips as well as how much battery power is left and how long the battery can keep powering connected devices. My only complaint is I wish there were more space between the outlets. My old APC UPS had four battery-powered outlets and I was able to connect four devices to those outlets. The CP900AVR has five battery-powered outlets but I was only able to connect four because the outlets are close together and some of my plugs are horizontal and take up additional space.

Good performance, few remarks
First of all, before you purchase this device please note the following:1. The device is non-refundable2. The device cannot be returned3. The mute button is not effective, the UPS keeps beeping when not connected to power4. Connecting devices to the UPS is tricky, as you have to be careful to which outlets you are connecting it to so your connected device stays on after the power is lostBesides the 4 comments above, the device seems to function as intended. I’ve connected my router to it, and a week ago we had an outage, and the router stayed on for a few hours.
