This was the fix
Fast ship, good packaging. We had a power event, after which the garage door opener no longer worked. A little online research and some quick troubleshooting identified which component was the problem. I think it was about a 1/2 hour job to swap the part out and then reprogram the opener. All good

Drop-in for the original travel module which exhibited the tell-tale 6-8" stop in both up and down directions. Took about 30 minutes to change the part for someone with a mechanical background.
