Q: Is there any Japanese knotwood in this, or is it just the resveratrol extract from it?

I'm not sure but the Japanese Knotwood is the same as the root that is listed on the bottle. I have used this supplement several times off and on and really like it. The quality seems very good. I will continue to use this brand when I need it again.

Q: Are there salicylates in this product?

I don’t believe there are salicylates in it, but resveratrol itself is chemically linked to salicylates so if you’re sensitive or allergic or taking something it may interact with, I would suggest asking your dr or pharmacist before taking it.

Q: My capsules are dark brown, is this normal?

I bought this a few weeks ago. It arrived brown. I’ve just now heard David Sinclair saying that resveratrol should be white or grey. He says if it’s brown it has either gone bad or has been contaminated! Luckily I didn’t have any side effects but it’s really unacceptable to continue to sell a supplement that’s gone bad! Not happy with the product and the seller.
