Koi Love these for Shade
I recommended these for shade. My koi’s live in Florida, so every bit of shade they appreciate. Easy because they won’t die like real lily pads.

More art than functional
I threw these in my pond. I regret it, they got grimy and moldy fast. The animals in the pond didn't use them. It's definitely a decoration and not fake lily pads that are in any way useable than artistic.

I have a little pond thing with a water pump in my back yard that a frog/toad has taken up residence in. There were two but I’ve only seen the one for a while now.Something fell in there one day and I noticed the would stand on it and I did the whole “aweeee. Let me get a picture, this is adorable.” thing.Later I had an elevated idea to look for fake Lilly pads that I could float in there… Wow. They love these and so do I lol.They all float and they’ve been in the water since I got them last summer-ish, through the winter. Even the smaller ones hold this guy’s weight on the water.(Don't mind the dirty looking water, it doesn’t normally look that gross.)

Ineffective and for novelty only
I guess I should've checked the dimensions of these prior to ordering. My bad. I know some lily pads can be quite large, but these are VERY SMALL. Green color is inaccurate, but that didn't bother me. I purchased just one package of these lily pads for use in my 3,000 gallon pond to help with water shade and hiding spaces for my goldfish, but these are completely insufficient for that purpose. They are also very lightweight, and within a couple hours several had blown out of the pond (and it's not even a windy day by Colorado standards.) The others ended up in my skimmer, again totally defeating the purpose. Maybe these are fine as a novelty or for a much smaller water feature, but they didn't work for me. Returning.
