We've struggled to find a pet barrier that would let out 17lb cat in but not our 50lb dog. They are the same width, so the pet gates with flaps were tall enough to let the dog in to munch on litter box treasures. Now that we own our home and can cut holes in the door to the cat room, this product became an option. I like that it is wide enough to let my cat in without squeezing but too short for the dog to force herself through. My husband borrowed a jigsaw from the neighbor, popped the door off the hinges, and had this thing installed and the door back in place all within an hour. I love the peace of mind from knowing that the crunch buffet is closed. I love that I don't have to mess with weird barricades or gates to access the room. We also keep our Meyer lemon tree in that room with a grow light, so it looks like I have a fun little portal in that corner now.

Just a heads up that you'll want a jigsaw to help with cutting the hole but the product works great once you get it on. Comes with a tracing guide to help with getting the hole the right size, but the shape is perfect for covering up if you mess up. I definitely did not cut perfect and was worried I just ruined my door, but the trim covered up the cut lines without showing anything.

I didn't find anything I didn't like about it. My cats love it,and I would buy again. Was Fairly easy to put together. Cutting the door was the hard part, but well worth it. The size I got was perfect for my cats. A good buy.

My son has been using our dining room as his classroom for over a year now. We have two cats that constantly want to go in or out of the dining room while school is in session, and it was driving my son crazy. I wasn't too crazy about just cutting a random hole in our door, and I disliked the cheap and somewhat trashy look of the cat flap doors. This seemed like a good option, and the white would match the decor of the house, while adding a little bit of whimsy. It seemed a bit pricey, but ultimately decided to pony up the cash if it meant my son would be a little less distracted during class.It arrived in a plastic bag, and seemed pretty sturdy. It's three pieces, and came with easy instructions as well as a template for you to trace on your door so that you could get the cut just right. Installation was fairly easy, and the adhesive was super sticky. You really have to be sure you have it lined up EXACTLY where you want it, because once the adhesive touches your door, it's pretty much set.It took our cats (one is 4, the other is 17) about 10 seconds to figure it out. The older one doesn't like having to 'duck' a little to use it, but he uses it anyway. He just gives us a grumpy scowl as he goes through. The younger cat loves the ability to run through it at full tilt, and has stopped his prior behavior of rattling the doorknob to be let into the room.The only downside is that the finish over the entire product is a bit rough. I bought the white one, and over time I have a feeling that the oils and such from the cats will build up on the edges making it look gross. The rough texture is going to make it much harder to clean off than if the surface were smooth. I considered sanding it down a little, but I was too impatient and installed it as is.

My only regret was not buying it sooner. I have a large fella so I went with the bigger one. It is pretty big, but considering my cats have to go down to the basement to do their business I wanted them to be comfortable going through the door. Installation was super easy. I seen some complaints about the regular sized one not sticking to the door, which is incorrect considering you have to install it with four screws. my basement door is hollow core and it’s holding up really well. Also, it is really cute.

Have used both the smaller ones and bigger ones and both were easy to install. Anyone that has come over to the house has commented on it and they love the look.Install is pretty easy if you have the right tools and take your time. I probably wouldn't try this without a jigsaw but I'm sure it could be done with some kind of hand saw as well.Overall very happy with this product!

Every cat owner who sees this in our house wants one! Fun, stylish and keeps the dogs out of the litter box. Had a small issue with missing latch but the company took care of it immediately. We love it.

This product was very easy to install but we did have a jigsaw to use to cut the hole. My husband had this done in 10 minutes. It looks super cute.

K so first of all it’s not perfect as I had to alter the front piece by cutting it down 1/2 inch or so.. cause this is for an actual door.. which I knew lol. But it was way too big for the shelf I used as a cupboard door so yeah.. I cut it down to fit.. which by no means should I ever touch a saw or a power tool! Haha but I did it! I used slightly shorter screws and I think it turned out pretty dang good! We wanted to try to keep the cats things in the en-suite out of the way so this was a very cute and clean cut way of hiding the litter box! Highly recommend! Had I been using an actual door for This project, installation would of been relatively easy, even for me!

Ideal für unsere Katze so kommt sie ohne Probleme zum Katzenklo und Futter. Ich habe lange mit mir gerungen die Tür zu beschädigen aber es hat sich gelohnt und sieht toll aus.

Wir haben diese Öffnung für unsere Katzen benötigt dir ihre Toilette im Keller haben.Und auch unser pummeliger Kater passt locker durch.Optisch finde ich es ansprechend.
