Judy Clock
This is the best clock to teach time to elementary aged children! It is sturdy, and easy to model. There are also sets of smaller clocks for students to use.

Great size
This is a nice large size great for teaching a classroom or just for teaching your kids at home. I wish it was plastic and not wood but it is exactly as described. (Small clock by learning resources is shown for size reference)

Still the best
My son learned to tell analog time on one of these in the 1980s and now his daughters are learning it on the one I bought for them (because their school doesn't teach this!). The clock works great -- smooth running gears advance the hour hand as the minute hand is turned (clockwise, of course!), and everything is big enough to be easily seen and controlled by little fingers. Any complaints that the hands don't line up right are totally bogus; the hands are loose enough to "set" them simply by pointing them both at 12:00. Well built, sturdy, and clip on legs so it can stand alone. Some things don't need to be "new and improved"!

Easy learning
My daughter is a first grade teacher and she wanted this for her class. She said it is very nice and should be easy for her students to learn how to read a regular clock.

Great teaching tool, Great size.
The media could not be loaded. Purchased to help my student tell time prior to him starting Abeka curriculum, in which the instructors use the exact same clock. I love the manual automation that moves the gears of the clock when you move the hands. The clock is large for instructing/teaching and I am happy with my purchase.

In general, pretty fabulous
This clock is awesome because its hands move in tandem, as opposed to other educational clocks where each hand needs to be positioned independently. This is very helpful in aiding a young learner in understanding how the short hand moves closer to the next hour number as the minute hand progresses through the hour. The only reason I didn't give this clock a 5-star rating is because some rapscallion friend of my daughter's (the name shall go unmentioned) messed with the clock, the result of which is that that tandem movement is slightly off. It's not a big deal, but I feel that the interior construction should be a little more resistant to kids' messing, given that kids are the ones who ultimately manipulate the clock the most. In general, I love this clock, though. The little window into the moving gearbox is a great feature, too.
