Hampton BayUC7067RC New OEM Remote Receiver 7067FM-05D(6+5)

I had an older Minka Air concept two ceiling fan. I tried ordering other receivers that were suppose to work for my model but they did not work. This one looked identical and had the same number on the side so I gave it a try. Lo and behold, it works perfectly. Now I don't have to replace a 400.00 ceiling fan. Thanks.

You must be sure to place the receiver with the beveled side down. I couldn’t get the fan canopy in place with the receiver upside down. Once installed, it worked with the existing transmitter. The light dimmer worked with incandescent or LED Dimmable light bulbs. Don’t use non-dimmable bulbs (per instructions). The replacement receiver part number had the same designation as the old one, except for an additional “D” after the “0” in the part number before the “(6+5)”. It worked just like the older model. Delivery was fast and I was glad to get it.

Finally installed this in my 10 year old Hampton Bay ceiling fan. The receiver was an exact match to the stock yellow one. The settings for the remote were even set for the same as the original. It was a quick replacement.Keep this In mind when purchasing, there is now a delay for the light. The old receiver had the light come on right away as soon as I turned the switch on. The new receiver has about a one second delay between the switch and light now. It’s not a big deal, just something to get use to. I contacted an electrician and he said it was normal for a replacement receiver to do that. I gave the receiver 4 stars for that reason.
