Surprising results
We installed this paper about a month ago. We installed this in our camper trailer that we live in full time. I was sceptical when we decided to give peel n stick paper a try. I did a lot of research and read a lot of reviews. So here's my experience:First, the wall must be completely clean. We scrubbed and then primed and then washed again.Second, lining up the pattern did cost us some waste. I had to shift the paper about nine inches to get the pattern to line up correctly. But it does line up well. So when ordering, make sure to take this into consideration. I got lucky and had just enough to finish my project.Third, putting in large pieces is royal pain. The directions state to NOT stretch the paper which feels like a thin vinyl. It can be very difficult to peel the backing and lay the paper without stretching. But stretching does change the distance in the pattern and make matching the next strip a pain.Forth, work out the bubbles as you go because they can be difficult to remove once the paper is laid.Fifth, it does peel off easily to reposition and fix wrinkles. Then it lays back down just as well as the first time.I really worked this paper, pressing and working it to fit before trimming it into place. But despite the hassle, when it was done, it is gorgeous. As I said before, it's been nearly a month and except for working out a couple more bubbles, I haven't had any issues with it shrinking or peeling. It's still as nice as the day I put it up.Overall, I'm very pleased with the result.

Love it!
Not finished decorating yet, but it makes me feel happy whenever I look at my kitchen. It was a little challenging to get the hang of applying it ONLY because I didn’t follow manufacturer instructions to hang it vertically. I insisted on hanging it horizontally, which I’m thankful my husband was home to help me and he was in a patient mood. It took patience, stamina, and strength to not give up to hang it horizontally. By the time we got the second row done we were a lot more confident and it went smoothly. It’s sticking good for a few weeks now. I have nice smooth walls and I prepped the walls, repairing any little dents/holes, properly washing and allowing almost two days for it to dry before applying the paper.I would buy it again, but would most definitely recommend following manufacturer’s instructions to hang it vertically.

This is awesome to install
This is awesome to install, so easy to reposition and doesn't lose its adhesion if you need to pull it up and stick it back down. Standing three feet away, it looks like real wood. Up close, though, since it has no texture it is pretty obvious it's just contact paper. Still beautiful though. We rent, and our upper cabinets were starting to look pretty beat up. This is a wonderful solution! Gave our cabinets a whole new look! Not sure I would use this as a long term cabinet wrap, we will only be here for another two years and then this product will be removed anyway. The only downside to this product is the lack of a grid on the backing. Still easy enough to measure and cut, but a grid would have made installation even more timely. There is an expected plastic-y odor when you open the packaging and unroll the product, but the odor goes away very quickly.I would highly recommend this product--would look even more beautiful on a wall! I do not believe this product would remove paint when taken down, though I have not yet experienced how the adhesive will react once it has been stuck to a surface for any real length of time.UPDATE: It's been well over a year since we put this product on our cabinets and it has held up beautifully! We wrapped out lower cabinets as well (drawer faces and cabinet doors), and through all the opening and closing and expected abuse, at no point as the adhesive lost its integrity. Still sticking firmly and not fraying were there is frequent friction. We did scrub down the all the faces of the cabinets as well as left the roll out to acclimate for about 2 days before trying to install--which may be why we had didn't have the same shrinkage or lack of sticky-ness issues as some other reviewers claimed. Changed the rating from 4 stars to a solid 5.

Pretty and easy to use
I really wish the rolls were larger for the price. However it's gorgeous and very easy to use.

So much pretty!
I just ordered two more rolls... originally I planned on doing a two foot tall "backsplash" around my tub. As soon as I opened the box i knew I would need more. Not because the roll is small, but because it is THAT pretty. I had enough to do the biggest wall behind my tub, with one piece left over that I decided to put on the wall behind my toilet, which is in a little alcove area by itself. It is so easy to line up, and I was able to do it all by myself but had to have my 10 year old daughter help with the last piece since it was so high. Does it hold up? I dunno. I just put it up today...but after reading other reviews I think I have prepared accordingly. The walls were washed down last week so they had plenty of time to dry and I put some E6000 around the edges of each piece so in theory this should never come off the wall. Hopefully we move before I decide to change it! If it does peel off I will probably just slap a little more glue on there and call it a day. Ultimately I figured a bathroom makeover for less than $100 is something that I won't be devastated over if it doesn't work out. I always like seeing other peoples photos to show what this is like in "real life" but I am almost hesitant to upload mine, it does NOT do it justice. And remember, this is a project still in the works, I was just too excited to wait to review it! I will try to get more photos of the completed project later and update on the "hold factor" of the product. But as of this moment, I am in love.
