Does rainmaker stay sticky?

I'm not sure what you mean. Yes, it's sticky when you apply it, but it soaks into the hoof sole and also the horse will 'wear' it off as he walks. Especially in his stall w/shavings or hay. I apply it after he's been trimmed by the farrier, to his solae and frog area, then I have him stand in the barn aisle (we have rubber mats in our aisle-way) for about 20 mins to give it some time to soak in. Can you use this on the sole and frog of the hoof too?

That's basically what it's for! No need to do the outer wall of the hoof because it's such a hard surface and won't soak in. Best time to use this is right after a hoof trimming and then follow up over the next few days on ONLY the sole, frog and bulb of the hoof.
