Very, very much pleasantly surprised!!
When I first stumbled upon this guitar stand from “GLEAM”, I was very hesitant about giving it a shot, especially because of the price point. So I ordered it, and it came the next day. I opened the box and first noticed the weight of the stand, heavier than the 4 other stands I got from Amazon. Just had to unfold, (nothing to assemble) and ready to rock! The stand holds all the different guitars I have (it’s very adjustable to different length of guitars), and it’s very easy to remove guitar from stand. High quality, heavy weight- I very much so recommend this stand from Gleam. I’m ordering another now.

Does the job, no plastic
More sturdy than a tripod, but I'd like it if they spread 2 inches wider. But there's no plastic to break, and IMHO a good purchase. It does has the unique feature of the neck brace having U-hook, so if someone knocks into it, the chances it will fall forward are lessened. Because of this hook, you insert the instrument from the side, not a big deal. It's fine.

Clever design.
Folds up nice and compactly to go in my backpack, but expands to hold my bizarrely nonsymmetrical bass and keep it from falling over. A bit awkward but not enough to worry. Best portable design for this type of guitar holder that I've seen

bought this for sturdiness
I purchased this stand after my banjo was knocked off of the previous one I had. This one is much more sturdy and secure, the C-shaped bracket on the top keeps the banjo from tipping forward and falling off.

Solid and sturdy
I feel safe leaving my bass in this stand even with three 3 y/o Dingoes (Heelers) running around the house. Solid, sturdy, and affordable!

Good concept, poor execution
I was looking for a heavier, sturdy stand for the basement. This is one of those. It's heavy duty construction. However the legs don't spread very far. Which makes it not stable. Also, there is sharp edges on the caps of the bottom fork. So you have to be careful to not drag the bottom of your guitar across them when putting your guitar in.If they fix those 2 issues it'd be a 5 start stand.
