Q: Does this work with cub cadet?

- To be completely honest, I don't know about the Cub Cadet; but I do know this: This item as received - brand-new and still on the display card - wouldn't retract the locking pins at the bottom. Then, when I inserted it into the hitch in my garden tractor trailer it went in alright, but it still wouldn't retract the locking pins and I had to physically tear it to pieces to extract it. I went to a hardware store and bought a 1/2" X 8" eyebolt to replace it, and that gave me something for a handle and does the job beautifully. Don't waste your money on this fancy gimmick.

The shaft is 12.45mm = 0.49 inches, so roughly half inch diameter.

Q: will it work on a cub cadet lawn tractor?

If your tractor has a standard pin hook-up on the back it will work fine. I like the one I purchased it makes it a lot easier changing out items.

Regina,I'm not exactly sure. I see it's not listed in the info online. I know it fits into an awesome ball hitch I bought at the same time (http://www.amazon.com/Good-Vibrations-170-Hitchin-Connector/dp/B003L77Z8Y/ref=pd_sim_86_2?ie=UTF8&refRID=1TD0NWWR1VMYT9DX2NR9). My guess would be 1/2" diameter or slightly larger. I'm not presently where I can access mine, but if you'd like me to, I could measure it and let you know.
