Work well but don't last a long time
I have gone through several of these in the last couple of years. I daily haul a trailer behind my ATV to haul horse stall waste from the barn to a pile. The Kingpin works great to quickly hook up and unhook the trailer so I keep buying them. The problem with them is that they are fairly lightweight and fragile and it doesn't take too long using one regularly before the spring mechanism wears out and it will no longer retract the flaps that keep the pin from coming out. Once that happens it gets harder and harder to get the pin out til it gets stuck and gets really hard to get out. One will last me about 3-6 months.

Good Vibrations 150 King Pin Lawn Mower Quick Connect Hitch Pin
This pin has expanding wings at the bottom thus keeping it from accidentally falling out and the release is in the handle allowing you to remove it thus there is no bending down to pull a keeper pin at the bottom out.I do have a concern first it is ⅜" in dia. not the normal size of a regular steel king pin which is ½" in dia. and it is made out of thin forged steel, since it is hollow to accommodate the inner release mechanism I feel that it may bend or break with a sudden jerk of the lawn mower when the cart is loaded. I have not pulled the cart yet so I might give an update to this later after it has been used.Update;I just used the Good Vibrations King Pin for the first time and I am now back to give additional information about it.I do want to warn you to take care when pulling the pin out as I was not and one of the wings caught on the edge of the tractor and bent because it was sticking out just a hair and damaged it. I had to use a pair of pliers to retract the wings allowing me to remove the pin and now it is no longer serviceable.I still give it 3 stars because it was my fault however, I do feel that when the handle is depressed and the pin is pulled that the wings should be completely retracted. Be sure to squeeze the grip firmly when pulling it and it should work well.

Spring keeps popping off like in pictures people posted
The spring keeps popping off just from squeezing the grip for release. Not very well engineered and definitely not made for constant switching of tow behinds for your lawn mower. It's not difficult to pop the spring back on but it is a hassle and an inconvenience for a product designed to make it easier. I wouldn't recomend unfortunatly

Still working, but had a durability issue
This pin is used every day, not just in the hitch but it is removed and put back in every day based on how we are using it. We pull a manure spreader with a golf cart, love the pin, very easy to use. I would have given it 5 stars but we've had this thing for just over one month of use and it stopped working today. When you pulled the lever up the pins would not retract. I was able to extract the pin and get it back in working order pretty easily. There are two springs ends that attach to the pins (one on each side) that came off. They are pretty easy to pop back in and it then was in working order again, but I'm worried about how long this will hold up in the long run. Time will tell.

Looks like a great idea, if it fits with your tractor
I think this would be a great idea for most tractor owners. Unfortunately it did not work for me because my hybrid hitch has an angle bar that leads to a ball for towing my chipper shredded. This hitch pin is so long I couldn't fit it between the angle iron and the hitch hole so had to return it for a shorter one from another manufacturer

Great for lighter duty
As with most items in the world, don't store it outside and don't expect it to last with a teenager.+1 star because its also large enough to unhook equipment from the seat or my mower. I like it and my only problem was -1 star for the locking mechanism easily sticking with dirt or surface rust. This was only a slight delay when using the pin, but did require some tap or jiggling to work. After a day with a young teenager I now notice its broken, that combined with some rust on the springs -1 star. In the defense of the teenager it was in use with a trailer full of sand on the lawn tractor.

Great idea, may be a bit long for garden tractor attachments.
Great hitch pin for easy unhooking. I really like the convenience of just reaching back to unhook the garden trailer. This way I can unhook, park the tractor and go back and put the trailer away. The release mechanism seems to work very well now but I have seen other reviews where it has seized up. It is a bit longer than it needs to be for any attachments I have so I collected a few of those foam washers that come in CD and DVD spindles. Turns out that they have the exact diameter hole for this pin. This lets the pin stay a bit higher so it is easier to reach and also keeps it higher off the ground so it doesn't get caught if you go over uneven ground.

A step forward in hitch bins.
Once difficulties with the pending Canada Post strike were overcome with Amazon's assistance, the Pin arrived in a timely manner and presented as described in the product description. Although I haven't had extensive experience with it to date, having just received it, it is working well and should continue to do so. The only caveat I would place on these comments is that the pin appears to have a thinner wall than I would've anticipated, so I think it likely would not stand up to heavy loads or severe strain without bending. It should be robust enough to manage most lawn and garden equipment, however. Ease-of-use is a 100% improvement over standard pin/clip pin designs!

I've had mine for 4 yrs.
Still works, kind of. The squeeze release works but it never really worked properly from day one. I still usually have to reach under to close the wings on pin cause the squeeze release doesn't always work. A little too long, should be shorter. Make sure to keep this pin oiled up or it will rust and seize. It's ok but not sure if I would ever buy another.

Love It!
Works well. Keeps me from going down on my hands and knees to insert the cotter pin. Will eventually wear out with heavy duty use. I am now on my second unit and love it. So convenient.
