Helmut Newton: Polaroids

The media could not be loaded.  The book is a must for HN fans.. just go for it.There are no blank pages inside, the quality of the pages as well as the images are superb, and rest other details you can find in the description.The book is a 5* but I gave 4* because of the packaging, the edges are slightly bent and the cover page has a cut mark.

The book itself is very good quality ,Heavy paper thick & well printed ,Flimsy dust cover as most are .The best polaroid is the main cover ,The rest are working images as the book states ,That is what Polaroids were used for in the time period they were taken.Do not expect high quality bounce off the page images,These they are not.Studying the images you learn a lot from the angles & lighting some worked some did not very informative & the timeline shown through the images shows the photographers consistent vision.As a working book for information its worth getting if your collecting for quality images then purchase one of his other monographs.

If you are familiar with Helmut Newton's work, then this is a must have.The beauty of Polaroid, in this digital world, is that it is truly of the moment.Book quality is superb, excellent quality print and good heavy paper stock.
