I had a small cheap broom, dustpan set that stopped working as the strip at the front of the dustpan was no longer staying flat on the floor, causing dirt to go under the dustpan, not in it. I bought a new one at the same store and it was worse! I found this set and thought I'd try it. At first I thought the broom part was cheaply made, but when I used it I found that it really works better than I thought! This broom is good for in-house use only, as the bristles are softer. The rubber edge on the dustpan keeps all of your dirt, etc., going right into the pan - exactly my problem with my old set. We'll see how well it does over time, but so far I really like it! Durability and strength remain to be seen, the length of the handles are perfect. I had worried about the strength because the handles come in sections that have to be screwed together. So far, that has not been an issue.I am pleased so far!

I read what other people said about this. And it lived up to the reviews. the teeth on the dust Pan are good for cleaning the room which was always an issue with otherbrooms when I finished sweeping. I like the color. It was easy to assemble. It doesn't take up a lot of room. The dust pan seems sturdy and flush with the floor.
