Long live the King!
This Casio G-Shock ‘King’ model is fantastic to look at, built like a tank, solar powered and has the added benefit of Multiband 6 automatic time setting. It’s true that the negative display can be tricky to read in low light conditions, but I’ve just turned on the automatic backlight feature and then a quick flick of the wrist illuminates the dial. Casio seem to be bringing out a few updated versions of the King, like this one, and it’s a shame they aren’t offering positive displays on more of them. Whatever, it is a fabulous watch that will last for years and I love it!

Fantastic watch with solar and multi band 6 and it doesn't look as big on the wrist as you would think this watch is built to last year's and is the watch you would ever need to buy my wrist is six and three quarters inches and looks spot on

Cool looking piece but ultimately not very practical
Had this for a month now.+ The chunky buttons were first stiff as hell but got easier to press over time with use.+ The strap is extremely comfortable, I always find thicker better and 21mm at narrowest points feels great on the wrist.+ The stopwatch and timer obviously work fine, but then you get the same out of the cheapest Casios for £100 less.+ The time automatically sets itself to within 1 second of my phone's time, which is great.- The negative display is the real negative - Over time your eyes get use to 'looking for' light-coloured digits rather than dark coloured ones so it isn't unusable, but it doesn't compare to even the cheaper standard Casio displays. In low light e.g. streetlight at night, it's unreadable where a normal display is fine.- This is an issue with negative displays generally. It feels like this could have been fixed on this piece by making the digits a bit larger, given how much wrist real-estate the face takes up.I love this watch overall and it is my current non-work daily wear but when I need much clearer displays, like when I'm in the gym or running I use my cheaper Casios. My dw290 is infinitely more readable despite having a much smaller screen that I can read from across the room or with a flash of my wrist.

A great watch.
This is a great watch. Previous reviews not being able to read the display are false. A great watch.

Not sure about buyer
This watch no good, the glass steams up in the cold and in the heat, I've sent it off to see if its real

I love everything about the watch. The fact that it can set it self is the most astounding feature, plus it's solar so no need for setting
