Good value.
Received it yesterday afternoon, fitted it to my lawn mower this morning. Very simple process. Much better quality gaskets than I expected for the price. I did use a premium quality plug though. Most of them included in these kits are very poor. BUT I cannot say the plug in this kit IS poor, because I've not fitted it (I'll save it as an emergency spare). It could be excellent for all I know. Lawn mower now runs like a dream. Very, very happy.

No more sputtering and black smoke.
Bought to revive the Briggs & Stratton QX40 engine on my old Florabest mower. The mower was smoking heavily and sputtering during use. This product fixed all that and the mower runs smoothly now.And no more embarrassing black smoke. Happy days.

Cheap, but poor quality
The kit arrived quickly and the springs and foam look OK, but the diaphragm and gaskets are awful quality, refusing to lie flat and ripping far too easily, and when I tried to fit the primer bulb the plastic moulding cracked. I suppose you get what you pay for, but if you are thinking of this kit for the diaphragm and gaskets, don't!

Quality of diaphragm and gaskets not great. Gasket is approx half as thick as the genuine ones.
My carburettor was running too rich, had lumpy throttle control, sooting up spark plug, fuel leaking at base of carb, not sucking up fuel unless tank more than half full, primer bulb not sucking fuel well etc. I started off cleaning the carb with carb spray and changing the diaphragm and gasket for this non genuine version off ebay. This may have made it a little worse. Making a sandwich with the diaphragm between two gaskets made minimal difference. I changed the primer bulb which was very tricky (needed a lot of force of fragile plastic parts) - This helped a little. The problem was these plastic carbs are prone to distorting with heat and time, making the surface that contacts the gasket uneven. I tried flattening it a bit with a sharpening stone and that did not help. Finally replacing the carburettor fixed all the problems. If your carburettor is distorted just get a genuine Briggs and Stratton Carb - it comes with a gasket and diaphragm
