Very bright and easy to use.

Excellent brightness
Bought this for someone who needs to do mapping, etc at night. I took it out to the woods nearby and it really is good for quite a distance. Rechargeable is a big plus. Not sure how it will hold up but will update if possible.

Very bright (for Red) light that is great for observing animals or hunting at night
I ordered this for a red light to view animals at night as we live near a river with lots of animals visiting us. This cool headlamp allows me go searching for them without scaring them away outright. You can adjust between multiple different brightness settings and also offers a strobe effect (not advisable when looking for animals). It also can be used for hunting of course as the red light is not as invasive to animals at night versus white light. It comes with 2 18650 rechargeable batteries that power this for a long time. You can recharge them either in the headlamp or I chose to remove them and fast-charge them in my Nitecore battery charger.

Bright on high
This is bright on high, has also a low setting, and blinking. Charging is easy, adjustments on head band can make for comfortable fit. Overall a good light, that will come in handy.
