I like the way this filter works. Not your standard rv filter. This filters down to .01 micron. That's good enough to drink from a running stream, or other body of water. Not recommended but in theory it's up to the task. Does not do too much for taste in water but it will definitely keep a lot of contaminets out. I decided to back wash mine after a couple months of use, and brown rusty looking water came out. Definitely working. And a great price.

Incredibly tight filter that might be slow but it will filter out the smallest of bugs. My rating are for how I know it will work. I won't use it until I can work it or need it for the apocolypse. It could mold internally if I use it once and then leave it out to dry, so it will sit with my earthquake rations, first aid kit and squeeze flashlight. If I were pulling water from a well,.. this is a perfect filter if you've only got $20 bucks

With suction hose connected to the HF 12 pump and Filter connected to intake hose and filter.. I turned on pump and no water flowed. Will not buy from this seller again.

installed this as 2nd stage filter after camco 20 micron filter. working great - review after using it for 2 weeks. so far, no drop in water pressureedit 1: Tampa, FL - need to change it every 4 weeks. No complaints, still 5 stars!

I love this filter. My only disappointment was that the plastic fastener didn't screw on straight and messed up the seal. Put plumbers tape helped create a seal.

I’m on a well at my house and sometimes the water can look pretty silty after heavy rains. I was filling up a large bowl for my pets from the hose (not filtered, house is) I was stunned how dirty it looked. Bought a filter from Walmart and it really did nothing to the color. Ordered this and was amazed to see perfectly clear water. It was definitely slower to fill, but worth it. However, the flow has slowed dramatically in a few days. It takes about a minute to fill a gallon jug. I attributed this to it clogging up from the silt.

Always use this every camping season.

I tried 5 of the filters, the last two in parallel with my RV hoping to achieve decent flow (I have REALLY bad water), I also put a 40 micron backwash filter and a high flow pressure regulator in front of it. After about 24 hours or less, every single one of them slowed down to not enough to effectively wash your hands, mush less take a shower.
