I ordered 2 of these and they are just awesome! I didn't iron mine, I steam pressed them. Simply hung them up and steamed them while hanging. The material is pretty durable, so I think ironing it wouldn't do any damage. BUT, I would place a sheet (or any other fabric) over the jacket as you're ironing, giving yourself sort of a safety layer to prevent any damage and/or burning of the fabric. Hope this helps.
