You have to learn how to use it. Once you have an idea about how much you need and how much this can produce, it comes in very handy. Easy to clean with dishwasher.

Used for the 1st time on 4/20! Arrived fast and works fast but slicer and shredder both making food mushy so I will return it5/9 update, the food processor is working fine and nothing was wrong except me forgetting to take the slicer out before shredding things like carrot salad. If you leave the slicer in like I did it will mush everything up but if you remove the slicer it works fine. My apologies

i use this every day and it's amazing easy to clean and such good value for the price . black and decker has always been popular in my home they make outstanding appliances and tools . this was a great purchase

Seems sturdy and like it’s a good quality product, but it doesn’t shred cheese. When you put cheese in there to shred, it just sort of pulverizes it. There are no stringy pieces of cheese like there should be and I’m not not sure why. Otherwise, I would’ve given it five stars.

Saved a lot of bucks buying this refurbished food processor. Packed and looked brand new. It is smallish, but works like a charm. It has a good sized feeding tube, unlike so many other brands. Very pleased with purchase!

I had this same model for so many years I can't remember and it does great. I broke the plastic insert of the grader by pushing too hard on a brick of cheese (same cheese I've grated many many many times - I don't consider this a product issue, I consider it years of use and abuse). I researched many other brands and models as a replacement but ended up coming back to this one because it did me so well for many years before and the cost is lower than some of the other "better" brands that don't get as good of reviews. I like the upgrades of less plastic and the attachment into the motor. The blades are SHARP, I cut myself washing the grader...small, but I would be careful if children are in the house - not a huge deal for my adult household. I gave 4 stars on blending instead of 5 simply because it doesn't blend like a blender - I wouldn't make my smoothie in this vs my high power blender. However, it blends up pesto, hummus, nut butters, etc perfectly fine! My only complaint is I wish the manufacture would make the replacement parts more cost effective....I would have liked to have just replaced the grader on my old processor but that piece alone was $30 so it made more sense to purchase a whole new machine. I donated the old one so hopefully it doesn't end up in the landfill soon, but it would be much more eco friendly to have cost effective parts.

I have really put mine into work since its arrival 30 days ago. I've made salsas, smoothies, soup bases, pie fillings, ground cookies & wafers for pie crusts, and more. Minimal noise and no struggling to chop or puree anything I've fed it so far. Simple to operate. Being a food processor, it's not good for "chopping", as in dice-sized chunks, but for smooth to somewhat-chunky thick consistencies, it's great!Its only drawback is that the low capacity for really liquid-y ingredients, < 4 cups max.Black and Decker has always been a reliable brand in all types of items from workshop to kitchen.

This has a safety features I wasn't expecting where the handle has to align with the lid in a specific way to trigger a spring in the handle, otherwise it won't turn on. Good for anyone that has kids that might get into kitchen appliances when adults are not looking. It shreds a full container of chicken breast in 30 seconds. Very easy to clean as well. I am still trying to get used to using the disk blade, but it cuts very well.
