LIFE SAVER - GAME CHANGER!
With these forever changing technologies it sucks when one can’t keep up. This little gizmo makes me feel like I’m not a dinosaur with my gadgets just yet!Let me explain: I’m a part-time photographer and video editor. Part-time means I can’t quite support myself without other work.Years ago I made investments into my camera gear, and of course, in that time new advancements come out which clients then expect your equipment can live up to.I don’t have a wifi camera. I have a sure but true Canon 7D and have spent thousands upon thousands on equipment to align with it.I’ve had laptops to edit works on site, but those have gotten damaged and not replaced. With certain clients of mine, all I need to do is upload quick red carpet images that have some minor touch ups, but posted as close to real time as possible.I CAN DO THAT NOW with this simple gizmo.I can shoot a series of red carpet shots - take out the card reader - hook into my iPhone - quickly edit on my phone - add the event watermark - post on social media - ALL DONE!I can do this at events, or, even better, as I’m leaving an event and taking a car service or train, I can start posting my images immediately. It’s all about getting the most done in the shortest amount of time but with the fastest results. So, I LOVE this gizmo!

This thing… you NEED
So I am a product of my generation’s rapid moving technology development. We have oodles of SD Cards, Thumb Drives, Micro SD’s etc. After recently losing my father, that drawer of memory cards suddenly found its way on my “need to tackle” list. That is where this little device comes into my life. The problem, how to get all the info off the memory cards in a manner that I could use them, and what better way to access editing apps with ease than on an iPhone. So I found this. Ordered with skepticism, but hopeful. It arrived the next day.OMGI just plug the Lightning Jack to your iPhone. Pop in the card you want to pull info from. Open iPhotos. And upload. It was sooooo easy. Now, some of info I was pulling was OLD. But I pulled it over with zero issues!! I can’t wait to use it again! This is a MUST HAVE STAPLE for every Gen X/Early Millennial home. And for the price? Wow. I never could have printed the pics or documents for that price at Staples.

Easy setup very convenient
Did a fall Photoshoot for my cousin. Was able to upload edit very quickly and send to her via text. Way easier than downloading on a laptop

Instructions
Can you please send me the instructions again? I was able to upload some pictures when I first bought it. It worked just fine. I tried again recently and I can't remember how to upload pictures to micro sd card.

Not suitable for long-term use
I’ve bought this product somewhat recently and have only used it a handful of times. When I first tested the product, it seemed fine, even if it took a long time to load the contents in my SD card. However, after having tried it once more, I’ve experienced this problem where the device (the SD card reader) will begin to connect, disconnect, and repeat. Making it difficult to import any of the pictures from my SD card. My previous process of using my computer to do it seems a lot easier in comparison, more reliable, and more efficient. Moreover, returns are allowed, however, if you wish to return it please be sure to learn from my mistake and keep the original packaging. I threw it away under the assumption that it did work, but maybe a month later (or less) the device stopped working. Leaving me with two other options, continue with my old method or try a different company. All in all, very NOT suitable for long term use or regular use. 😞

I wanted to multipurpose use SD card reader
I bought this with the intent of plugging my SD cards directly into my phone and uploading them from my camera, and this seemed the best option so far it is worked well
