I bought this for my husband. One of the ports for the battery was not easy to get the battery to charge in. There was a card asking if we were happy with the product. My husband contacted the company via email and they answered the next day. They asked a few questions and gave a few tips. They determined the best course of action was to send another one to us immediately. It arrived in about 5 days. As to the product itself. The replacement charger we hooked to a small plug in usb charger (the charger from Kastar comes with a usb cable that can be plugged into a computer or other similar port). The charger has to little led lights which are green until a battery that needs charging is inserted at which point the light turns red until that battery is fully charged. The battery was inserted into the camera and it was really charged. The 2 batteries don't hold the same charge as the original that came with the camera. But, since the battery for this camera is about 50 bucks, and the 2 batteries together would outlast the one original, this is still a great buy. It was only about 14 bucks, you could buy 3 of these combos for less than one battery.

Works and functions as well as the factory ones

Charging box was a little finicky, and the batteries don't last very long. I guess that's why they send 2? LoL.

but now I get an error on the camera saying I need to use a compatible battery. It worked fine for awhile and luckily the 2nd one still works no problems update now neither works
