SalewaMs Rapace Gore-tex mens Trekking & hiking boots

Fit straight out of the box, size was spot on a 43 (size 9 UK). The sole is quite rigid which is what I needed and they seem weatherproof. I've yet to test this out by spending all day out in the wet but they handled walking through a stream without any soggy socks. All in all a quality boot at an OK-ish price. I hope they last as long as my last pair of boots (Salomon) which have just started to let in water after 10 years!

Just received my order an what a surprise - original box despite what was said in the previous reviews. All perfect and nothing missing. I've put them on and they are like second pair of socks! As this is my first part of the review I will finish here but after a week or two of walking will add more details to share my shoe experience!

The boots feel sturdy with a good stiff sole that was what I was after. My biggest complaint is that boots are sold as a synthetic outer which they are not. Don't trust the description like I did if the details matter.

Great boots very supportive and comfortable. I haven’t been out in wet conditions to review how waterproof they are.I am a normal width size 8, they do feel a bit tight across my foot, possibly should’ve went for a half size up, but hopefully they will stretch a bit.Otherwise quite happy with them.

Have had a pair of Salewa walking shoes for years which were super comfy hence the risk was low on the boots.Have to be honest - these are way better than expected! Super comfy from the get go and surprisingly lightweight for 'stiff' sole books.
