Good, affordable art pencils
Love these pencils! I’m a beginning colorist, but the quality is there at an affordable price. Recommend trying these out to see if the coloring hobby is for you. Then when you advance, invest in the expensive stuff. Blends nicely. Nice color selection.

MARKART 72 Count Colored Pencils are pigmented and beautiful
These pencils are exactly as described. Pigmented and vivid colors. Easy to layer with. Smooth lay down. If you can't afford prismacolor pencils, these are near the experience of prismacolor. They aren't prismacolor, but it gives you a close or near experience with the vivid colors. Great budget pencils. Can't go wrong with these. But I will add, these pencils do have a lot of crumbs as you color. I feel it's not that important since the crumbs don't stick to the paper so easy. Just use a nail or makeup brush and dust them off.

Nice set of Colored Pencils for Coloring Books
I really enjoyed using these MARKART 120 soft core. Colored pencils to color in my Women’s adult makeup coloring book. I found it enjoyable because I was able to blend colors easily, say for the hair by using several different colors of brown and then in spots blending them together. You don’t get any doubles, each pencil has its own distinct color. When I did need to erase in a spot I was able to completely erase the color without having any issue. When I am in need of Colored Pencils again I will definitely choose these. The price was very reasonable for the amount I received and the quality of the pencils themselves.

Very good for casual use
Theseare not 'professional artist' pencils, of course -- not for this price -- but they are not so bad and much better that the ordinary cheap kids set, and have a moderately good pigment load and will cover the area you color directly, although not smear very far out -- blender pencil helps with this. They lay down smooth and creamy and are nice to use, and do blend well with each other. Don't use these for professional work, commisions, etc. but they work fine for coloring books, sketches, and your own drawings. I'm an old guy with a beard doing a sel portrait right now and love it that they have a dozen grays in the set -- in short supply with many sets, and the color range is pretty good for 72 pencils. They also sharpen well -- no breakage yet. Yeah -- I'd buy these again and might well get the 120 set is they come back in stock. Definitely worth the price.

These are soft & creamy colored pencils, a great budget friendly set!
Lori, from Color My World, on Youtube, was right, these are smooth & mostly creamy colored pencils, especially for the price! Of course they aren't Prismacolor or above, but, for their price point, these are very very comparable. These would be a great starter set or, as in my case, a wonderful, low cost set to use in place of some other, costlier brands.I'm glad to find another, definitely comparable, affordable/budget friendly set of colored pencils for basic coloring books & such, so I can save my nicer pencils for my more artist grade coloring books & personal art works. I used them briefly, since I only just received them, but right away, could feel the smooth creamy leads/cores. They also sharpen, in my electric sharpener, just fine. Use a light hand with these, they're so creamy it's easy to add to much colorI've noticed only two sort of "issues". One is the dry "crumbs" & easily snapped off, super fine pencil lead points (since these are lower cost/budget level, not pro or expert). I just don't sharpen them to needle fine points now, & use a fluffy makeup brush to sweep away the crumbs, so I don't accidentally cause streaks & marks on my project. The other issue is, the largest set right now is only 48 pencils, but I'd gladly buy a larger set if they were available!Glad I bought them & I'd also gladly give these as gifts as well~Hope this helps🙂

Great alternative to expensive pencils
I usually buy prisma colors pencils. It gets to be quite expensive when you color a lot. I do. My form of relieving stress. I included some pictures I colored by a new artist I tried which I really like. (Kerby Rosanes). As you can see the colors are nice and vivid, I love the choice of colors included. They color almost as well as prisma colors. Actually, I’m liking them better right now. They are softer but not quite as soft as prisma colors. They sharpen great. There has not been one pencil that I had to keep sharpening away which was a nice change. The price was great. Comes in a nice little medal box. I also took a picture of my sharpener. It is a “red” cover girl eye brow pencil sharpener. Not sure if they still make them but this little sharpener, if you can find it, is the best sharpener for any types of pencils I’ve tried. If you come across one somewhere pick yourself one up. It has to be the red one though because I’ve tried others and they aren’t as good as this little red sucker. Just a little secret I wanted to pass along. I’m usually a Johanna Besford kind of girl as far as coloring but I wanted to get a book to use the new pencils on. Really recommend this artist. Very different and great imagination. Really can’t say enough good things about these pencils. I am going to order more. Give my wallet a break from the prisma colors. Highly recommend you give them a try. Judge by the pictures, you can see how rich and creamy the colors are. Hope this helps in your choice.

The BEST budget pencils available
I own a set of 120 and of 72. They have slightly thicker barrels as well as thick cores. They've never disappointed me. Vibrant colors and very smooth. The metal tin is really nice as well, although I put mine in cases. You truly cannot go wrong with these. I used only these pencils for this picture ( coloring book is called "Enchanted Earth ).
