Love this corner cabinet so much!!!
FUNCTIONALITY:This is a wonderful addition to my kitchen. It's just what I needed to increase storage and counter space, and to fill an awkward corner leading to the basement stairs. Now I have a very convenient place for my taller kitchen appliances (blender, ice cream maker) and a permanent, easily accessible location to store my big crock pot. I'm going to cut a 36 x 24 silicone mat to fit across that section of counter and the top of this piece, and that's where my toaster oven and toaster will live! This piece of furniture has allowed me to make huge improvements in my kitchen, and I couldn't be happier about that!PACKAGING:This was VERY thoughtfully packed. Every piece was kept safe, but the overall package was surprisingly streamlined and small. Best of all, the styrofoam inserts were shrink wrapped in plastic!!!! No nightmare snow storm of static cling styro flakes!!! THANK YOU, PREPAC!!!ASSEMBLY:This is another place this item really shines. The directions were a very thorough BOOKLET instead of just a one-page with diagrams and few/no words. However, the directions didn't even NEED to be that thorough, because this piece was so skillfully designed for simplicity and ease of assembly. Once I did a quick layout of all the parts and inventoried them against the list (everything was there and in great condition!), it took hardly any time at all to put together with just a few turns of a screwdriver. All holes were pre-drilled to the perfect diameter and aligned flawlessly. The innovative hardware they provided cut down on labor in a major way while still constructing a sturdy piece. The only thing that gave me pause was the door hinges (I had never installed this type before), but the directions even went into a lot of detail with several diagrams about the hinges, and even about how to adjust them to get the door to lay EXACTLY how you want it to.SUMMARY:For this price, this is a wonderful item. Clean and beautiful finished product. Easy to assemble with only one person. I am SO impressed with PREPAC. Sincerely, other flat pack furniture companies should be TAKING NOTES HERE. PREPAC is going to be the first place I look any time I need flat pack furniture like this again.6 out of 5 stars!!!

Quite an assembly project but worth it.
Here are some notes that you may find useful in assembling this corner cabinet.Delivery will be a very heavy box of 18 flat boards made of particle wood. You will need help getting the box into your house. I managed to tip it into my car's backseat to get it up my driveway. I opened it in the car and took the boards out in several trips to get it into my house. I assembled it near the bathroom to shorten the work of placing the completed cabinet there. The instructions are fair, but needed some clarification that I am supplying with images. To avoid mistakes I took 3 or hours to study and assemble it. I could probably do a second one in an hour. This cabinet has a top cabinet and a bottom cabinet which you build and then join together. Study the video at the Amazon page that clarifies in a general way how the different types of connectors are used. Early in the instructions (step 2) you are told to join the two largest boards and I have included an image with notes to identify which connectors to use for this and where to place them to join the boards. Same clarification made in another image for the top cabinet (step 9). The cabinet has convenient cutouts for baseboards, but if you have an additional quarter-round shoe molding like mine it will prevent pushing the cabinet flush to the wall without some customizing.Patience is required to adjust the hinges so the doors lineup properly. It took me several rounds of adjustment to do this but it is doable. It's a plus that the hinge parts offer both vertical and horizontal adjustment. It takes a lot of screwdriver torque to lock things in place once you have the doors lined up so be sure to use a properly sized screwdriver for the screws so you don't strip out the soft screw tops.Overall the design and result is about as good as you can expect when ordering large furniture that needs assembly. We are pleased with the fit and quality of this corner cabinet for our bathroom.

Nice cabinet, no markings on ANY components.
I'll start this by saying I really like this cabinet. Just be warned, if you are not a regular at putting furniture or things like this together, you might have a harder/slower time because NONE of the components are labeled. There's instructions, and there are letters designated for each component in those instructions, but nothing on the actual components. So that's why I knocked a star off. It wasn't too bad to figure out, but it definitely took me a little bit longer to get the pieces organized and eventually assembled. I'm a 5'2" woman and I assembled the whole thing myself (with the help of a drill and a step stool). If you don't have help, assemble the bottom first, then assemble the top on top of the bottom portion. Don't assemble the top separately and then try to lift it over the bottom, save yourself the heavy lifting. Once assembled, it's a solid piece, much more so than what I thought it was going to be. The individual pieces have some weight to them and don't feel cheap. I also really liked having the option of which way the bottom door can open, as well as the hinges on the door. They're the nice hefty metal kind and there are round cutouts in the door in which to mount them. The wall anchors that were provided were worthless unfortunately...they're super small and because I have wainscoting on the walls behind it, the anchors were too short to reach the wall. Fortunately I already had some other corner braces that I was able to substitute as anchors for the top. Maybe consider buying some of those beforehand (I think I used either 1" or 1.5" braces) if you have the same situation or just don't want it flush with the wall. Overall, I'd recommend this piece if you're looking for one that's a corner cabinet/shelf combination.
