Yes. I use it in my Royal sluice box with the ripples in it. Catches fines, pickers, and small nuggets.

The riffles run the short way across. Can be used in a sluice under miner's moss or metal riffles to prevent fine gold from slipping out under the matting. Or by its self in order to catch fine gold.

Catches fine gold very well

Used as a top indicator mat in my recirculating sleuice, caught a nice flake right away and hasn't slowed down since! Almost all the fine gold recovered since installing it at the top of the riffles has been in this V-mat. Works great, easy to trim to size/shape. Takes a little doing to clean out when working in a clay-rich area.

Is what it is!

A few minor blemishes and one rather extrusive blemish, otherwise I’m very happy with this mat. I’m curious if this is normal for these mats? Not sure what to rate this star wise, I’ll give it a 4 because it is exactly what I thought, blemish= -1⭐️
