As per many of the other reviews here, the size chart from the company is off…We measured up carefully and considered going a few sizes bigger because of the complaints in the comments. In the end we went with the company guidelines.Perhaps they have mistaken chest diameter for waist diameter?Anyway what arrived under ‘medium’ would fit a chihuahua, not our cavachon.Update: the waist size for medium, listed as 40-45, measured 38cm, and the coat length is the length of the ENTIRE coat, not just the dog back length.

The large model of this item is too small for me Dog. It’s more for a medium size too small.

I'm not sure how hard wearing this coat will be, but as a packaway poncho in a downpour, it's perfect. The only downside is that the measurements given here are WAY off. I ordered the small for my chihuahua cross jack russell, and it is tiny! The description gives a back length of 36cm, however the back length is actually only 24.5cm. The waist circumference is given as 37-42cm, but it is only a maximum of 36cm. So if you order, go up at least one size!

The item was very disappointing I have a cockapoo 1 year old I ordered a medium this wouldn't have fitted the smallest dog ever wanted it for a caravan hoilday instead item ended up in the binVery disappointed

Buy a size bigger than you expect.I couldn't get my little bulldog done up as she has a thick neckShould of gone for the largest size.Shame because it's a lovely product and your doggie will look so sweet.

Great. Only issues no hole for the lead on a harness. I’m just going to put it under the harness though.
