Great blade for price. The balance, weight and sturdiness of the blade allows for easy welding. The blade itself came very thickly oiled and protected in plastic. It is straight, has no wiggle and is thick and sturdy. The blade came sharp, leather was used to touch it up just a bit.The saya is wood and lacquered shiny black. The saya did come with some "scuffed" areas (see photos). It doesn't effect the usefulness of the saya, it just doesn't look smooth everywhere.All in all, a good blade!

I am thoroughly impressed. Mine came in perfect condition and sharp out of the box. Cuts through plastic bottles, tall weeds, pool noodles. I feel like quality vs cost it is a 10/1. Affordable, functional and visually appealing. The one i got does not have a clay tempered edge so do not be expecting a hamon on the blade nor does it have the appearance of a damascus steel blade up close even though it is listed as such however, It is well polished. I would buy another one for me or as a gift.

First and foremost, it’s a lovely sword and definitely get your bang for your buck! Well put together because I can’t seem to find anything wrong with the katana. It’s above and beyond of what I imagined, the only small issue is with the Saya ( scabbard). It’s on the small side for the actual sword and have to use a little bit of force to put it back in, but definitely worth it !!!

Very good sword and good quality and very beautiful

I just got the Musashi and I am blown away. Fantastic craftsmanship even though it’s their cheaper sword. I literally got it delivered maybe an hour ago and I’ve already cut through bamboo, a few water jugs, a water melon oh yeah and the box it can in lol. Fantastic sword don’t let the negative reviews fool you. I couldn’t be happier.P.s. my neighbors are looking at me like I’m crazy in my back yard slicing things with a katanaXD

I purchased the 1060 carbon steel version of the katana and so far could not be happier. The blade came super sharp, in pretty decent packaging, and with some care instructions. The sword itself seems to have been made with care shown by the binding on the handle being nice and tight, and the handguard having absolutely no wobble. This is honestly 10 times better than I was expecting for the price and would definitely buy from these guys again. I guarantee that at this price point on Amazon, you won't find a better made katana.

It’s decent for the money, I see it as something to mess around with and worst case have to use it in a post apocalyptic situation. Didn’t come razor sharp but it cut threw a few water bottles.

First sword I've ever ordered and after reading poor reviews on other sites I wasn't sure what to expect. I couldn't be happier. Sword is very sturdy and the blade is sharp and strong. Feels like it's balanced well but I'm no expert.Aesthetics are nice for a $100 blade.Very pleased. Gave it to my brother as a gift and he thought it was great.When the zombies come, he's ready.
