A fun little book, cutely illustrated, about a subject everyone notices and usually keeps mum about. After the roller coaster ride of 2020-21 we all experienced, who isn’t up for a smirk, a giggle or a laugh? Mommy’s Giant Melons would make a fun gift for a wedding or new mom and dad or others.

The author of this cleverly written tale, MamaJC, must have had her tongue planted firmly in her cheek! What a delightful story that can be read both to children (aided by the richly artistic illustrations) as well as enjoyed by folks of all ages. This hilarious romp into the world of oversized fruit is a great short story that makes you wanting more. If you are looking for an uplifting and humorous escape, I highly recommend it! Way to go MamaJC.

Read this book to my husband as a joke, but needed up really liking it and laughing. Will be sharing at work as it is such a cute little book.

We both enjoyed this short story. We had a good discussion about the doctor insinuation. So in a way it was a good way to gently introduce sensitive topics.
