An excellent 9 channel looper for very little money!
This is the first time I've tried a looper, and I have to say it's pretty easy to understand and use, and makes a huge difference to playing rhythm sections while practicing alone. A very sturdy bit of kit, can be powered by USB or 9v DC, and you can plug in to a PC and import/export WAV files for different songs. Oh, and it's extremely cheap considering the 3 channel is not much cheaper than the 9. Deffo a good bit of kit and well worth having. And it has a tuner :D

Good quality cheap looper
This is a small looper but does the basics well at a very competitive price. Could be slightly louder.

Great for the price. 1 feature annoys me
I like this. For a cheap looper it does the job and it does it well. It's very easy to use and it can record for such a long time before you hit the memory capacity so I have no complaints there. You can also save presets which is good although I have never tried to do this.My only downside is if you record a loop, it doesn't have an open to then continue recording immediately, you have to wait a second and then start recording again a little into the loop. Which is a bit annoying and means I have to wait for it to go all the way around again before I add on to what I've previously done. It is very fast though and reacts instantly to your control. Apart from that it is very versatile and for the price it is great

All the important stuff from a more expensive BOSS looper
This pedal is just brilliant, I already have a Boss RC10R so using this Lekato was instinctive as it functions the same when wanting to record a single track loop. i.e one press to start recording, one to playback, a double-tap to stop, a hold to delete. Easy to select any of the 9 saved loops with a press of a button. It's like the BOSS in that there is a LED tracker pattern that goes round when your loop is playing - this is actually a useful indicator when you're playing.Another bonus is that there is a (albeit basic) tuner built in. It shows the note (e.g. "E") that you're tuning to along with a row of five accuracy LEDs - a bit simple but good enough and easy to read if using live. It mutes the guitar sound when tuning.I've not measured the sound quality against anything for a technical comparison but it seems good enough.I've tried a Boss 9v power adaptor, a universal 9v adaptor and an adaptor from an old broadband router - all are fine (they all have negative centre)The physical size - it's a perfect match for my "Tom's Line Engineering" nano pedals. All in, this is the perfect practise looper. So many features that aren't on other budget priced loopers - highly recommended.

A Magic Box.
A great little looper. It’s good to have nine loops, and the rotating LED light circle really helps when jumping in with an overdub. Fairly easy to use, but like most loopers it’s easy to accidentally delete everything on the loop instead of just the last overdub, so a little practice helps. But, it’s a magic box, and good value. Build and sound quality are both excellent. Recommended.

BRILLIANT PEDAL
After years of purchasing various looper pedals - mostly Boss - and none of them working properly or to a standard I expected, I bought the Lekato looper as above. What a difference. A simple but effective pedal which does the job effectively and simply. Brilliant pedal. I would reccomend it to any musician.

It takes more skill than you might imagine to use this thing
I use this with synths/keyboards.If you are going to have any sort of reverb or sustain effect on your sounds going into the looper you are going to have audio clipping when the loop restarts.I guess if you are using a guitar you can just put your reverb/effects pedal after the looper in your chain. For me I am using some in-built effects so I need to be very carful about what's happening in the sound at the loop point.Generally if you are going for any kind of droning, constant sound you will need to bring it in slowly after the loop and bring it out slowly before the loop, then you can sort of patch over the quiet bit on your next overdub with another gradual sound. If you are playing notes or a melody you need to make sure the reverb or envelope is fully released before you loop. Also, just the timing in general is a challenge, you need to practice and plan quite a bit to get it right. It's easy to loop in a nice melody only to realise your timing was very awkward and needs to be redone.I guess this is probably all old news to people who use lots of pedals but it was a journey of discovery for me.It does not comes with a power supply other than a usb cable. As with most devices powered over usb this introduces loads of noise that I needed to deal with in my DAW. So a power cable would probably be a good purchase. The product is great for what you pay for. I've had loads of fun with it so far.

Don’t buy this is you have a Mac
Overall, it's a great pedal. Good for the money you are paying. However, I would warn Mac users that they will be unable to open, or even find, the wav files on their Mac, even with the recommended software. As many other reviewers have pointed out, we have not been provided with a solution to this issue, and there has been no warning about this problem given. I was very disappointed by this, so I would advise others using a MacBook to just buy another pedal that is compatible if planning on connecting it to your MacBook
