Q: What is the photo quality like?

This printer does not have a good reputation for photo printing because of the way it uses the black pigment on photos. I would recommend a specialist photo printer if you are looking for good quality. In the Epson range that would be the Expression Photo series.

I got a friend to help me set it up and took about 2.5 hours from unpacking the box to getting everything as I wanted it on my laptop and iPads. She is very thorough and we had to resort to YouTube at one point and also download print drives etc. I was having problems with pdfs so she downloaded abode and set that as the default so hasn’t been a problem since. Hope this helps as I’m not really clued up about this level of detail. Must admit I’m loving the printer though so do persevere. Good luck.

Q: Can you print from i pad

It is possible to use the ET-4800 printer using an iPad, the Epson application will need to be installed to that device as well as the printer requiring a wireless router wifi connection. Kind regards, Epson UK.
