Q: Do they run big? Would they fit a smaller woman about 110 pounds?

I wish they had different sizing for these... I'm 5'2", about 110lbs and they're too big for me. The knee and wrist pads were too big. The elbow fitted ok. I ended up getting another set of pads.

Q: Do these pads have material that goes all over your knee or just velcro straps (i.e. "back" of your knee is open). I just worry about slipping.

Completely covers front and back of knee. No slippage in all the times I've used it. They're very safe. Only complaint is they get hot after a while

Adult! I bought my 14 year old 98lb 5'4'' son them and they were tiny on him and he is tiny!

Q: What is the length of the elbow pads and knee pads (youth) in inches from top to bottom? Also are these "sleeve" type pads, or just velcro?

The knee pads are 9" in length and the elbow pads are 6". They are sleeve and Velcro. The hand/wrist pads wrap full around wrist with material and have Velcro which wraps over that. There is no Velcro which would come in contact with skin. Nicer than I thought they would be. I hope this answers your questions.

Comfortable and can handle falls

I recently decided to try roller blading for fitness. I roller bladed as a child, but hadn’t done it in about 20 years so I knew I’d need some decent protective wear while I relearn. I’m under 5ft and usually wear child size in most things, this all fits well (the wrist guards are even a bit wide, but I have tiny wrists). They’ve protected me from several falls in the week I’ve been getting back into it (I especially appreciate the wrist guards as I tend to go down in my forearms when I fall). My only complaint is that after 6 or 7 issues, one seam of a knee pad has started to split. I was able to easily repair it by hand (sloppily but functional, photo attached), but would have hoped the seams would hold up a bit better.
