Bovee 1000 with Y USB/AUX iPod Integration Cable for BMW, Mini Cooper Wireless Bluetooth Car Kit for in car iPod Integration

This Bluetooth device works great in my old tech 2011 335i BMW. I have an iPhone 10 and my wife has an iPhone 15. Once you pair it your phone automatically pairs when entering the car. This pretty much works like an old iPod. The playlist pull up and all controlled by the steering wheel and center media knob. The only thing to note is that it comes up as headset when initially pairing. Once paired it says bovee 1000. I added a usb adapter for the 12v port adjacent to the media Aux / USB section strictly for charging.I have a fully restored flawless 2011 335i BMW. The one thing missing was Bluetooth audio. Not anymore! 😎

Very disappointing. Connecting to the phone was OK. However, streaming audio from my phone does not work. It cuts in an out randomly, and then just drops out completely where it has to be re-selected by the car's system. Tried everything. Phone's bluetooth works just fine, so it is the Bovee unit. Is this unit just defective or is it just badly designed/made?I would return it, but I took too long to actually try it. What a total waste. I can't even use it as an expensive paper weight.

Wow, Finally. After multiple attempts at Blue Tooth Music in my Car I find Nirvana.This device connects easily, shows up in my CD / Media on my Radio as 'IPhone'From there you can drill down, see your playlists, what is currently playing and your screen now has life !Cool Points: As soon as I get in the car and start it, if I had music playing on my phone this devices picks it up instantly and I don't miss a beat.As it is a separate Bluetooth from my Car's Phone Blue Tooth, when ever I get a phone call, it disengages and the BMW phone takes over. Once you hang up the phone the music starts right back.A Tip, it is better to manage the music from your phone and let the BT just display it. Yes I can adjust the songs on the BT and my BMW screen but it is smoother just to start like say Apple Music and let the BT show you the songsWhat killed me about my other Blue Tooth devices was I constantly had to turn BT off and on for the BT to kick in.But not this one, as noted above, it just picks up the phone instantly. No power drag on my phone either when I just leave BT on.This is da bomb ! I highly recommend it for BMW's and their old fashioned displays for music.

The connection to old iPods is nice. Unfortunately the Bluetooth sound quality degraded after a week. I tried unplugging and disconnecting yet still had muffled and distorted music from my streaming iPhone. It was worse than far away AM Radio reception.

I bought this because it showed that it would show track tag and library info on my factory screen. It doesn't do any of that. It works okay as a bluetooth receiver, but doesn't do anything that a cheap $20 headphone jack adapter wouldn't do just as well.

Once it paired to my iPhone it worked great, it took several attempts to get it to pair. The issue could have been my Aston Martin DB9 and it’s Bluetooth connectivity.

This thing is fantastic. It works like a charm. I have a 2010 BMW 328 and I was using an old first generation ipod with 60gb of memory (the old ones that are like an old hard drive). It was a hassle synching the ipod and as a consequence I rarely had up to date music in my car. This changed all of that. Now I get in my car and I can listen to music right off of my phone. I will admit it took two tries to pair but on the second try it paired and I have had no problem since then. I like it so much that I was talking about it with someone from work and her eyes lit up. She now has the perfect gift for her father. I plan to have my car longer than my phone. I hope this works with the next iphone I get. Only time will tell.

I was hesitant on this purchase, but after I got it in, which was easy install, the product seems to do what I wanted it to do. I can now go wireless with my phone to use either itunes or google play from my phone. Sometimes it takes my system a slow spell to recognize what I want read, but overall is good little addition.
