Ok, nerve wracking... But we're up and running again
The battery isn't nerve wracking, the process to get it in is a bit for those of us prone to anxiety. There is a youtube video on how to do this...watch it, in fact set the phone in front of you and do each step as the video does and pause the video till you have that step completed. Get a small container to drop the screws into, and have your tools arranged and a magnifying glass if you think you'll need it.I want to warn everyone. That old battery in the phone is inside a bag that can be punctured by metal sharp tools- this is bad because you short out the battery that way and cause it to spark- electronics people. As SOON as you get to where you can unplug the old battery from the circuit board, DO IT!! First thing. Get that puppy disconnected from your phone. Trust me on this. If anything goes a bit off the rails in getting the battery out...it can only damage the battery that way, the battery you're going to toss anyway.Your best bet when you go to work to get the old battery out is to pull that black tab opposite where the battery plugs into the board, that is one of the adhesive strips and when you pull it, it disturbs the hold on the battery on that side. Best would be to have a thin plastic piece that is up to prying to try to get around the battery to underneath it and pry- but all mine broke, if they are thin plastic, they often are not strong enough. What eventually worked for me after I accidentally punctured the bag and made a spark, a loud POP, and some smoke, is I used a flat very thin metal guitar pic at that side bottom corner being sure to get under the battery and used it and then it and my fingers to lift the battery enough to get in a small flathead screwdriver (the one included in this package will work) so that the end of the screwdriver was seated on the floor of where the battery sits and wedge the battery upwards carefully. Be careful as you work and if you're going to wedge it wouldn't be a bad idea to use several strips of something like masking tape or similar on the edges of the phone that you're prying against so that the edges don't get damaged in the middle of all of this (mine got little dings). Once you get that side of the battery to where you can pry with your fingers, you can then carefully keep prying up until you get the other side to let go. Once the battery is out you're pretty much home free. I put the new adhesive on then held the new battery in approximate place over it but not touching it and got the new battery plugged on the board again securely (be gentle and careful again) then once it was well plugged on, carefully lowered it into place so there wasn't any strain on the ba, this happened when I did remember I hadn't done that. When I opened it again it had the cam attery lead and onto the new adhesive. Then don't forget to replace that internal cover circuit board. I did forget and a sticky foam pressure pad on the inside of the outside case cover caught my face cam and pulled it out, unplugging it in the process. When I reopened it to put that cover circuit board back it was attached to the back of the case- ACK. I had to grab the cam as carefully as I could trying not to touch the lens and put it back in place and plug it back in to the main board. Just remember to put the internal circuit board cover board back on and that won't happen- that holds all that stuff in place. If you want to test if it is working before you put everything back- put the back outside cover lightly into place, not secured down, and just hold it there with your fingers while you power on the phone (this is just precautionary to make sure that nothing touches the computer boards while they have power to them and end up shorting out the phone). Confirm that it is powering on per normal, then tell it to shut down as you normally would and when it is powered off, turn it over, remove that outside back cover and put everything back then put the outside back cover back on and smooth and press it into place...I didn't do extra adhesive.,...yet anyway, as there was enough on it from before to hold it well in place. When my nerves calm all the way down I may very well put some E-8000 adhesive in there just for waterproofing reasons...but for the moment we're good and everything is working fine. It's a done deal.It came with a 52% charge. Enough to let you test it and all that.

NOT 4000 mAh
This is just a cheap chinese battery, like the rest it only has around 2000 mAh, not the "supposed" 4000 mAh, i only bought it for an old phone that doesnt offer an oe replacement anymore. If youre phone is current, (or parts are still avilable from the mfg) just buy the oe battery, these chinese batteries are a waste of time

Strong battery
I initially gave this product a 3 star review because it wasn't performing as strongly as I expected, but after charging and allowing it to discharge 4 times, the battery thereafter attained it's maximum capacity. Now, I only charge it once in a day. Very good battery.

Perfect! Full 3860 mAh capacity
I am impressed! The battery was relatively easy to install and it came with all the tools needed. The battery shows the full 3860 mAh capacity in the Battery Guru app. So far the battery is lasting like new! Thank you!! I am very happy

Low capacity 2200mAh
Been using for 1 month but couldn't charge to 4000mAh. Battery health test reads 2200mAh all the time. Totally wasting money.
