Where is the butane sold and does it sell in a 2 pack

Most chinese grocery stores sell cylinders. Apparently these stoves are common in the chinese community.

I am not aware of an adapter that would allow you to use a different fuel source.

Probably but it might just be less money to just replace the stove and keep the old one for parts
