Michael Aaron Piano Course Lessons: Primer Paperback – February 1, 1994

I'm currently teaching my daughter to play the piano. I used this book when I was a kid, and tried to use the same copy for her, but it was falling apart past repair. I'm happy to report that this is basically the same book.There are updated pictures, and they've tried to simply/clarify the info pages. There is slight rearrangement of some songs, which makes it make a little more sense, and three songs have been added.

I ordered this book because of a recommendation for a beginner book for my nine year old daughter. The book arrived on time without any damage. We are enjoying the easy instruction. It's a classic.

I have been using this book since I began piano teaching. I also learned out of this book when I took lessons. My students also love this book!

I have used this to teach children for years, and now I'm thrilled to say I'm using it to teach my own children. It's easy, and it gets kids playing songs right away. The March of the Middle C Twins is perfect for kids - it's not too hard so it's discouraging, but they can have that sense of pride in that they can "play piano now!"This whole series is good - it combines theory with fun songs. Definitely recommend this for kids.

This book, and overall the most of Aaron's piano books,- are the one of the best course to learning piano.No additional ( unnecessary !) pictures,or supplements - which makes easier following each page with trust and confidence that child is going to learn properly.

Super kid friendly book

I used these same exact books as a child to learn to play the piano. They worked for me then and they are working for my grand children.
