This set is essentially 12 studs deep with a narrow sidewalk. I hope this becomes a long term standard for smaller LEGO buildings.The default method for building the main option of the three is to have the two buildings face different streets on a corner. I made a very small modification so they both faced the same street to better fit in the space I had available.The outer front walls are intricate and look very nice. The “dollhouse style” construction without a back wall does not bother me for a building of this size and cost. It fits well in a row with the Townhouse Toy Store set. The inside detail is good given the limited space. I did add a small number of additional pieces including more foliage both inside and out even though it wasn’t really necessary. There are a good number of parts for the money and this is significantly less expensive than a Creator Expert Modular building.I ordered a second set to be delivered today to increase the length of the row by building one of the other two options. Together with the Townhouse Toy Store, I should have a nice row of six buildings on my block for the price of a lower end Creator Expert Modular set with two buildings. The more expensive set would have taller and deeper buildings. It seems like a good trade-off to me.
