great storage
I spent ages deliberating all the different types of storage and brands. You can get lost in YouTube reviews of the "best PS5 storage 2025." But if you're like me, a casual gamer sick of all your space being used by the CoD game, then this thing is great.I already have an external storage that plugs into the front of the PS5 in the USB-C port. This thing is an SSD (no moving parts), works great, and is fairly cheap. It will store your games, but the bad thing is, you can't play your games from there. The transfer speed is not quick enough, so you have to drag the games back into the PS5 to play them. This can take 20 minutes for a big game.so I decided to buy internal storage for the console.This thing is a game-changer. Although the PS5 recognises it as extra storage (I now have 3 storage locations in the settings) it plays the games straight from this storage. I transferred the games from PS5 storage into this card to free up space and the speed is crazy fast. normally I'd be waiting 20 mins, but this thing was done in 90 seconds.There is another Samsung card similar to this, and I guess it's newer as it's the '990', but I honestly wouldn't spend the extra 80 quid. This thing is great.i can't tell you about things like transfer speeds and temperatures as I'm not that savvy on that stuff. and to be honest, I couldn't care less, it works great, and thats all I need. installing it is easy, I had to watch a YouTube video first, especially how to get the cover off. and all you need is a small Philips screwdriver, the PS5 will walk you through the formatting. Takes less than 10 minutes.I highly recommend

A must have for ps5 owners. Easy to install, and adds instant access to more ps5 storage space. Quick loading and low power consumption. Compared to usb external storage is no competition.

Blazing fast, great value
Purchased for use in a PS5 console. Easy installation, very fast read and write speeds.Heatsink design so far seems to be very effective, not hot spots and thermal throttling to be seen during testing.I'll be getting another to use in my PC soon.
