MY NEXT LIFE AS A VILLAINESS, ALL ROUTES LEAD TO

This turned out to be exactly what I hoped it was. It's a romance/slice of life isekai that knows to not take itself seriously. There are some deeper elements, but it's mostly lovely fluff.

Simple main lead wakes up in the body of a young girl. As she comes to realize it is the villain of a game she played in her previous life she tries to avoid the bad fate. It is a light hearted story with funny moments. I can not speak on the source material it is based on but just the anime. The time just flew by while watching the show. Even though it ends well and does not need to go on I found I wanted to see another season. I believe there is a second season but I have not found it to watch yet.

The Otome villainess reincarnation feel good anime. Not about that fanservice, but it is nice to seena clueless female protag. It's lively, cute and funny.Though I do also think it's wierd for a Otome playing girl turned into protagonist to be so unaware of the romantic feelings around her. Would highly recommend.

I love bakarina's obliviousness. The girls are trying to woo her too, good for them.

I love this series so much. Katarina is such a loveable character and her interactions with everyone else is always enjoyable

The visuals lean towards a brighter presentation as it is a lighthearted show.It is my opinion that due to this franchise's commercial success the market has seen an abundant number of Otome Isekai stories becoming available. The basic premise is the protagonist gets isekai into an Otome game as the villainess. She is afforded years before the game's story actually begins to prevent all the doom flags from being triggered leading to her villainess character's demise. That effort entails preventing earlier traumas in the true heroine's love interests and/or accidently stealing key events that make characters fall in love.The problem with this franchise is all characters, be they main or supporting, male or female, all fall hard for the dense protagonist (Ichika from Infinite Stratos dense). How do you mistake a kiss for a bug bite?! Now, everyone obsesses with our protagonist's everyday activities, stalking her so as to prevent romantic rivals from winning her heart.Other franchises that have followed under this exact genre have succeeded in allowing characters to grow beyond loving over the protagonist. Alas, everyone in this franchise is obsessed with the villainess.It is a relatively safe reverse harem story. No fanservice to speak of. The characters do have unhealthy obsessive tendencies, but their heart strings are based off of one-time video game trigger events. I can see this show being very dull for many viewers, so consider watching it on a streaming service first before adding to your Blu-Ray collection. There is a second season already viewable at the time of this product's disc release.Also, what is up with the opening theme song? Its wacky.

It is a great series, but my bluray set was missing Disc 1, but had two Disc 2s. Returned it.
